About
Posters are research. They should be treated like it.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of posters are printed, pinned to a board for a few hours, discussed with a handful of people, and then rolled into a tube. The work behind them is real: pilot data, negative results, methods refinements, student projects. Almost none of it becomes part of the citable record.
ResearchPosters exists to close that gap. We give each poster a landing page, a persistent identifier and usage metrics, so it can be found, read and cited long after the conference badge comes off.
Free to read
No paywall and no embargo. Published under CC BY 4.0 — share and adapt with credit.
Citable
Each published poster gets a stable identifier and a formatted citation.
Permanent
Records stay online with their metadata, files and metrics intact.
Editorial policy
Posters are peer reviewed. Before publication an editor checks that the submission is a genuine conference poster, that the authors are correctly listed, that the file is legible, and that the content is within scope. We do not assess novelty or significance — readers do that.
Rights and licensing
Posters are published under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence. Authors retain full copyright of their work; the licence lets readers share, reuse and adapt the poster provided the original author(s) are credited. By submitting, the author grants ResearchPosters a non-exclusive licence to host, distribute and display the work under these terms.
Cost to authors
Submissions are open and publishing is free for authors until September 2027. There is no submission charge, no subscription, and nothing to pay to read. Running costs — hosting, citable identifiers and long-term availability — are covered through arrangements with conference organisers rather than by individual authors.
