For authors
Author guidelines
Submissions are open and free to publish until September 2027. Most submissions take under ten minutes.
What you agree to by submitting
By submitting to ResearchPosters, you agree to the following:
- You keep your copyright. Your work is published under a CC BY 4.0 licence — you retain ownership; the licence lets readers share and build on your work with credit to you.
- Your poster gets a permanent record. Once published, it receives a persistent DOI and becomes a lasting part of the scholarly record, citable like any other publication.
- Your poster is reviewed for clear, complete reporting. We confirm that key elements such as methods, data scope, funding, and disclosures are present and clearly stated. Any reviewer notes are shown transparently alongside your work.
- Publishing here doesn't limit where else you publish. A poster record here does not prevent you from later publishing a full paper elsewhere.
- You confirm the work is your own. Or that you have appropriate co-author/institutional permission, and that it's accurately and honestly reported.
- In cases of confirmed research misconduct e.g. plagiarism, fabricated data — a retraction notice will be added to the record.
What we accept
Any poster that has been presented, or accepted for presentation, at an academic conference, symposium, workshop or departmental meeting. All disciplines are welcome. We do not accept manuscripts, slide decks or promotional material.
File requirements
Upload a single PDF or high-resolution image (PNG/JPG) up to 25 MB. PDF is strongly preferred because text stays selectable and searchable. Make sure figure text is legible at 100% zoom.
Abstract
Between 100 and 5,000 characters. Write it as a standalone summary: context, what you did, what you found. Avoid undefined abbreviations in the first sentence.
Authorship
List every author who contributed, in the order shown on the poster, with their affiliation at the time of the work. Mark at least one corresponding author. Adding ORCID identifiers makes your record easier to attribute.
Licensing and rights
By submitting you confirm you have the right to publish the poster and any third-party material in it. Posters are published under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence — you retain full copyright, and readers may share and adapt the work provided the original author(s) are credited. By submitting, you grant ResearchPosters a non-exclusive licence to host, distribute and display the work under these terms.
Cost to authors
Submissions are open and free for authors until September 2027 — there is nothing to pay to publish, and nothing to pay to read.
After you submit
Your poster goes to an editor for a scope and quality check — usually a few days. Once approved it is published immediately with a citable DOI, and view and download counts start accruing on your dashboard.
